Cecil Ford |
Ray and Carla Ford have been living in Friendswood since their wedding in 1977 and purchased this business from Cecil Ford who started Ford's Automotive in 1978. Cecil had been in the automotive service industry since 1925 and that legacy has been carried on by his son, Ray, who purchased Ford's Automotive in 1981. Cecil passed away in 2001 and is truly missed.
Our primary concern is for our customers vehicles and their safety. We feel that it is our responsibility to honor you with our service in ways such as knowing how your vehicle should operate and the correct repair procedures and maintenance. We are members of the Automotive Service Association (ASA) on the local, state and national level. We have served on the board of directors for ASA as treasurer, vice president, president and past president. We are also members of the Friendswood Chamber of Commerce starting in 1981. We also served on their board of directors. We are members of International Automotive Technicians Network (IATN), a network of several thousand technicians. Ray is a ASE certified master technician with L1 advanced certification and has 40 years experience. For other affiliations see our links page.
